Ken Whillans Washroom Building

Scope of Work: A new washroom pavilion was constructed for the Credit Valley Conservation Authority to serve the busy Ken Whillans Conservation Area with permanent washroom facilities and provide the CVC staff with an office area. Located within a flood plain, the building was constructed atop of a helical pile foundation and with measures to limit the impact of a flood. Additional key features of the building are the cranked wooden roof structure, western red cedar soffit, premium engineered siding, and aluminum clad panels, along with a standing seam metal roof. The facility was also served by a Waterloo Biofilter septic system and septic field.
Victoria Park Stadium – Phase 1

Scope of Work: Remo General Contracting Ltd. was awarded the project of rehabilitating the sports field in the City of Brampton’s Victoria Park. The project consisted of multiple different aspects as per the following:
- Erection of a new custom Architectural galvanized steel and pre-engineered coloured precast concrete privacy/barrier fence
- Provision of new galvanized steel bleacher structures and subsequent foundations
- Installation of new end-field high chain-link fencing
- Complete installation of the new electronic scoreboard and supporting structure
- Installation of new custom galvanized steel entry gate complete with formed poured concrete walls
- Extensive concrete paving
- Electrical lighting upgrades
- Various field repairs and adjacent landscaping
